Join Pop-Up Art Café at Goat Patch - Lincoln Center for a screen-free evening dedicated to creativity, community, and being present.
Bring a screen-free hobby you’ve been meaning to make more time for — a sketchbook, journal, knitting, crochet, embroidery, coloring book, collage supplies, a book to read, or whatever you're into.
We’ll spend the first part of the evening settling in, creating, and enjoying some intentional time with our hobbies. As the evening goes on, we’ll shift into a more social atmosphere with opportunities to meet and connect with the people around you.
Come alone or bring a friend. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist — this is simply a space to step away from the scroll, make something with your hands, and connect with people in real life.
Goat Patch will have beer and other beverages as well as a food truck available for purchase throughout the evening.
What to bring:
Bring any screen-free hobby you'd like to work on. Think drawing, painting, journaling, knitting, crochet, embroidery, collage, coloring, reading, or something entirely your own. Goat Patch is offering $1 off pints.
The Game Plan:
5:30–5:45 — Wander in & find your spot
Grab a drink, get settled, and say hello. (If you are coming from work and running a little late, that's totally fine!)
5:45–6:30 — Get lost in your own creative world
Settle in with whatever hobby you brought along, or grab one of our curated art packets and try something new. This part of the night is all about slowing down, making something, and enjoying a little uninterrupted creative time.
6:30–7:45 — Mix, mingle & make
As the night goes on, we’ll turn up the social side. Join our collaborative art project, play a lighthearted game, or grab a connection bingo card — easy, low-pressure ways to meet the people creating around you.
7:45–8:00 — Wrap it up & say your goodbyes
Finish what you’re working on, swap info with your new creative friends, and head home feeling a little lighter and more connected.
No pressure to participate in everything. The whole point is to get off your phone for a few hours, make something with your hands, and spend some time connecting — with your creativity, with other people, and with the world right in front of you.
