Press Release: Goat Patch Brewing Company Announces Next Chapter for Monument Taproom
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO • 11/4/2025 — Pikes Peak Brewing Taproom to Continue as Goat Patch Brewing – Monument.
Goat Patch Brewing Company (GPB) announced today that beginning January 1, 2026, the Monument taproom currently operating as Pikes Peak Brewing Company will officially transition to Goat Patch Brewing Company – Monument.
The change marks the next chapter in a story that began one year ago, when Goat Patch acquired the assets of Pikes Peak Brewing Company. Since then, GPB has been hard at work investing in the Monument facility — both restoring its foundation and preparing it for a sustainable future.
“When we took stewardship of this space, our hope was to build upon the legacy that made Pikes Peak Brewing such an important part of the Monument community,” said Justin Grant, co-owner of Goat Patch Brewing Company. “As we got deeper into the operations, we realized there was significant behind-the-scenes work required to bring the brewing facility to the place it needed to be to support both brands. It’s been a heavy lift, but it’s one we’ve made with the same pride and care we bring to every pint we pour.”
With brewing production improvements now underway, Goat Patch is consolidating under a single brand to strengthen its operations and focus resources on what matters most — quality beer and meaningful community connection. The transition to Goat Patch Brewing – Monument will create operational efficiency across both locations while ensuring the Monument taproom reflects the high standards that define GPB.
As a nod to that legacy, two of Pikes Peak Brewing’s most beloved recipes — Elephant Rock IPA and Gold Rush Belgian Golden Ale — will continue to be brewed and available exclusively at the Monument taproom and through local retailers.
